“Not Happy”

Booked holiday through Co-op Travel, no complaints about hotel or holiday destination. We flew out with Jet 2 and returned with Monarch.

My complaint is this: No flight tickets had arrived, went to travel agent the day before we were due to fly, told we could fly out on our confirmation receipt, they rang Jewel in the Crown who said we could pick our return tickets at the Travel Assist Desk Terminal 1 Manchester Airport.

We arrived at Manchester Airport at 12.00 am for a 16.20 flight, we checked in at Terminal 1, then went to get our tickets, we were informed by the information desk in Terminal 1 that they had never heard of a Travel Assist Desk, and that Monarch were based in Terminal 2, after a long walk about 45 mins we found the Monarch Desk in Terminal 2, and asked if they had our tickets, we were informed that Monarch have been a ticketless airline for over 12 months, (G'RRR communication) On arrival at Dalaman took us ages to find a Jewel in the Crown Rep, who were indifferent to our situation, seemed more interested in chatting with each other, will definitely not book a holiday wiyh Jewel in the Crown again,
