I installed 3 hob appliances and 2 DD ovens in my new kitchen. The Teppanyaki plate blew up shortly after installation and the repair has not worked. The wok hob was faulty and still is, despite repeated visits by at least 2 different repairmen, neither of whom knew how to repair it. The convection hob is now also failing on the main ring and I think I might prefer to leap off the nearest cliff than have to deal with either RepairCare or indeed De Dietrich itself ever again - we have had months of utter misery and frustration and the company does not seem to care one iota - the best offer was a small % off new equipment (as if I would ever want to buy DD again!) and since then complete silence.
Do NOT ever buy De Dietrich unless you want to make your life hell and your kitchen a saga of failed meals...
