The Bush Dfta 11/a Freeview Box Is Biggest Heap Of

The Bush DFTA 11/A freeview box is biggest heap of rubbish I have ever had the misfortune to own. It has a mind of its own, switches on & off with infuriating regularity (at the time of writing every 10 minutes or so) & when it switches itself on it decides to go through the TV listings download. It would be nice to be able to watch something without frequent 10 minute interuptions.

All in all a total waste of space, time & effort. The designers should be sacked, the manufacturers banned from manufacturing as anyone who can give a piece of electronics such an awfull means of operation is obviously an incompetant disenthusiast. Why has the office of fair trading not demanded redress. Selling this item is tantamount to fraud. Steer well clear. Actual Rating minus 10 out of 5 (and that is being generous)but I am forced to click on stars that are not deserved.

My Bush Dfta 11/a Switches On All By Itself, Also

My Bush DFTA 11/A switches on all by itself, also switches off when you are watching tv. Totally locks up so you have to set it all up from the start. Read some decent reviews but it is the biggest load of rubbish I have ever bought.

When I Decided To Go Digital In My Bedroom I Bough

When I decided to go digital in my bedroom I bought this box as it looked fairly cheap and did what I wanted. However shortly after 12 months (warranty period is 12 months) the box would not turn on. Occasionally it will go off altogether even when turned on.I got in touch but they didn't want to hear about it.

The Bush Digital Terrestrial Receiver' Dfta 11/a

The Bush Digital Terrestrial Receiver' DFTA 11/A (Freeview box)I have to say that this is one of the worst pieces of electrical equipment that I have ever come across in my 64 years! In September 2005, in moving house to an area which did not have cable TV, It was suggested that I bought a set top box in order to watch the channels on Freeview.I bought two of the above boxes, one for each of my TVs. After eleven months one of the boxes ( lets call it box 1 ) stopped working. As it had a 12 month warranty, I sent it back and got a replacement ( lets call this box 3) .After 13 months the second box which I originally bought (box2) stopped working but it was now out of warranty and the supplier did not want to know. I replaced it with a Philips model. Yesterday the replacement box (box3) exploded in quite a spectacular manner with a significant amount of smoke issuing forth! Thank goodness I was actually in the room at the time. ( This box was actually in the bedroom and only used for, at most, two hours a day).NO Mr. BUSH- it is NOT GOOD ENOUGH! '
