We chose Haarts Nottingham to let our property for us as they assured us that all we had to do was ''sit back and collect the money'' for a small fee of £70 per month. That could NOT have been further from the truth. They put a tenant in the property who is on housing benefit when we were told they only rent to professional people, the tenant has a cat when we were told no pets would be allowed in the property. The rent is due on the 25th of every month and they told the tenant that we had said it was OK to pay on the 10th by card payment, making them at least 15 or more days late every month! I finally went in to the office to speak to the manager as every one of my phonecalls was not returned and also the email of complaint had not been answered. The manager said that they had not received an email (I had receieved a notification that they had received it). I have now spoken to several departments regarding rent arrears for the tenant and no one seems to be bothered. Finally I have spoken to the tenant myself and intend to manage it without paying £70 to Haarts to do absolutley nothing! I would not advise anyone to rent/ buy or sell through this place!! Jokers
