I was to take British Airways from London to Boston, and the flight got changed to American Airlines #109 due to some agreement between BA and AA. Well the trip back was horrible. First I couldn't believe I was greeted by a staff member holding a cup of coffee. Then the staff were extremely rude and unprofessional even talking to each other about some of the passengers while distributing drinks. One person next to me asked for an immigration form and the staff person responded "You should have gotten one at the beginning of the flight". He reminded the lady that the form distributed at the beginning of the flight was a customs form not an immigration form. Regardless, she should have just been polite and gotten the form for him. Then toward the end of the flight one staff member was checking her phone messages. The plan was old and very cramped - not the type of plane that should be used for an 8-hour flight. I never had such a bad experience on any flight like I had on this flight. I took BA to London and the staff was very pleasant and so very professional. What a difference. The staff of AA could surely benefit from observing how BA staff conduct themselves.
