I would give them no stars but I had to in order to leave a review. I wish I had read the reviews before i sent this company my son's Nintendo DS Lite to be fixed. I duly paid the £29.99 upfront cost for a new card reader to be put in the device and posted it recorded. There were some loose prongs in the reader which I assumed were causing the problem not that this was ever confirmed or denied by M Blue Ltd. I recieved an email to say it had been recieved on Thursday August 2nd and it would take 3-5 working days to fix. A good start I thought. So I waited. On Friday 10th August I rang the company to find out where it was, they apologised that their service was taking longer than expected but it had been fixed and would be posted on Monday (13th).....I rang them again on wednesday 15th and was told they still had the device as the original card holder had not worked and that they were waiting on new stock to arrive but it would be sorted out in the next couple of days. I rang again on Friday 17th as I had still not recieved anything or heard from them and they do not update their order tracking service on the website, its very basic and I assume its main job is to stop you ringing them up and hassling them, i was told it had been posted again "according to their system". I rang the following Monday to find out where it was to be told it was still with their technicians, they couldn't explain why i was told twice that it had been posted. Another card reader was still to be fitted and it would be posted by the wednesday (22nd). It came back on wednesday 22nd with scribbled on masking tape all over the back but it did have a new card reader in it. There was dirt trapped under the screen at the front so clearly no attention to detail was paid by these "technicians" but my son was so desperate to have it back after 3 weeks I decided not to send it back again and resolved I would take it somewhere else to get this sorted. Today I have gone to put a game in the card reader and the device is rejecting it again, the game will not physically go in the slot, it pops straight back out as though the spring isn't working maybe. Judging from previous reviews and the unhelpfulness of the "customer service" department so far (although i am visualising a couple of fellas sat in the shed in the back garden with a couple of screwdrivers and a hammer and the Mrs bringing them a fresh brew when required) i am presuming that complaining will result in me being told this malfunction is down to something I or my son has done and so demanding a refund will prove futile (no one else seems to have got one and I now understand why they demand an upfront payment before even finding out that is wrong with it) and I will put this little episode down to a lesson learnt and hope that my review will deter anyone else from wasting their time and money. It doesnt take a genius to set up a website and an 0845 number to make it look like they are running a reputable company. Avoid!!
