“Charged and charged again ”

Left 1&1 over a year ago, closed the account stopped the hosting and transferred everything over to a new host. The 1&1 technical support was excellent, but despite the assistance to transfer the domain I have still been charged for the hosting for the last year. What makes this worse is that I cannot login to the account because it has been deleted, calling customer services takes an age, be prepared for a half hour wait at least, and when you're finally put through they inform you that they cannot help directly, instead you have to await an email...

Really there are far better services out there do not use 1 & 1
