So, in December 2011, I signed my first contract with T-Mobile. The guy behind the counter set me up with all sorts of deals and had me walk out of there with a brand new Android and a huge deal with data and minutes, and I payed only $50. I was thinking this was the greatest thing that a cellular company had ever done for me. That was until a small bit later. I noticed right off their "4G Service" that I was paying for was virtually non-existant. And the phone they set me up with had no 3G to fall back on. Furthermore, I would also get complete service blackout far too often. After constant complaint about the lack of service I was paying too much for, they switched my phone out 10+ times. They kept giving me the same defective model, and promised that the next time they would give me a new model. This never happened. Eventually I got sick of it and went to Verizon. They were able to sever my contract with T-Mobile nice and easy, and was able to keep my phone number. Now I have 4G 60% of the time, and the other times, I can go on 3G! So, if you want a phone that works, dont go with T-Mobile. They will not help you in any way.
