WRITE A REVIEW

“Cottage near Doelan, Brittany”

I don't normally write reviews, but think it's only fair to do this given the poor publicity Cottages 4 You seems to get. We booked this cottage in southern Brittany for a week, and have just got back. Lovely place to stay, and the French owners (who lived next door) were really very friendly, even giving us little presents.

The descriptions of the place were completely accurate, directions to find it perhaps a little sketchy (but we did find it ok), and Cottages 4 You even managed to change the details of our car for the ferry at 24 hours notice after our originally booked vehicle broke down (they were going to charge for this, but I managed to negotiate them down, and in the end it cost no more because we downsized the car we took). They were also helpful in initially arranging a different ferry crossing to the default Dover-Calais.

So, all in all, a good holiday (yes, we were helped by really excellent weather too), not luxury, but fairly priced. Above all, we couldn't have asked for friendlier owners.
