“Warranty Repair of Ricoh Camera”

We bought a Ricoh CX3 (great camera by the way) via the internet from Clifton Cameras in August 2010.
It developed a faulty LCD screen but we had lost the proof of purchase paperwork.
More in hope than expectation I e-mailed Clifton Cameras to see what could be done about it.

They replied very quickly and confirmed that they still had a record of the sale and that the camera was still covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
They offered to arrange for repair and gave clear instructions about sending it back to them, warning that it might take up to 5 weeks before we got it back.

They kept us informed about progress by phone/e-mail at every stage and posted it back to us at no charge inside 3 weeks.

All in all I thought the service they provided was fantastic.

Well done Clifton Cameras!
