I inherited our school Scholastic account when a senior member of staff retired. Frankly, I was expecting to try and fail as I am not at all business-minded. However the system is so easy to use and the support so effecient that the problems I feared never materialised. We are a small, rural school (usually around the 100-pupil mark) so business is never going to boom but there is enough interest to make it worthwhile. Some of the children are highly enthusiastic, asking when the next catalogue is coming and being lead to read more widely through it (and pestering me every day after they have ordered to see if the books have arrived). The rewards system is generous enough so that, even on our low turnover, we can soon accumulate sufficient credit to make significant additions to our library stock. Frankly, I wouldn't be without Scholastic now. Thank you.
