“Homestarrunner's humor is similar to the humor of the...”

Good Points
Lots of content, had me laughing out loud, lighthearted (little or no sex, violence, drugs, or politics), quite a lot of interactivity, virtually no ads.

General Comments
Homestarrunner's humor is similar to the humor of the Space Ghost or Brak shows, centered on boastful absurdist characters whose lofty designs always meet disaster. The best part of the site is probably the cartoons of Strong Bad answering fan e-mails. Strong Bad is a self-important and mischevious character who brags about being successful with the ladies, despite all evidence to the contrary, and bullies many of the weaker and more timid characters (like his brother, Strong Sad, who likes to sit in a dark room and listen to the Cure), but often suffers an all to justified comeuppance. These cartoons often include "Easter Eggs," hidden buttons that you can find by mousing over the screen, the pushing of which reveal further comedy bits, including simple video games based on Strong Bad's misadventures. The best introduction to Strong Bad is probably the "dragon" e-mail; at least that is the first thing I looked at, directed there by a friend, and after seeing it I was hooked. Find it at http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail58.html.
