I called to cancel my wife's membership today, and was told that I must send the request (in writing) to your headquarters. I was then told that I would be charged a minimum of 2 more month's membership fees once the letter is received. While I can understand a minimum commitment requirement up front, I fail to see the reason which would require you to continue charging us after we have requested to terminate our membership and well after our initial agreement of 2 years has passed. I know that this charge was noted in the original contract, but I just can't understand how this fee can not be waived for a customer of over 4 years. What is the reason for this charge, and additionally the reason that you make it difficult to cancel the membership? Is it solely an effort to keep your "customers" paying at any cost? You have not temporarily lost a customer, you have permanently lost one, for $90. Great business decision...
