I purchased a Beko WME7267W washing machine for over £300. After having the machine for only three months the circuit board malfunctioned and it had to be repaired. One year later and the same problem happened again with the circuit board. I telephoned customer services to be told that the machine is no longer within the 12 month warranty and I will have to pay a whopping £119.00 to have this piece of rubbish repaired. I feel that this machine has been faulty from day one and should never have broken twice after only 18 months of service. These white goods appliances should last a minimum of three to four years.
I then tried to take my complaint up with Customer Services and they were about as useful as a chocolate fireguard. The company wouldn’t budge and still wanted to rip me off for another £119.00.
Stay away from Comet if you value your money in a recession.........Once they’ve sold you a faulty product then you’re cast a side like dirty laundry.....
After Sales should be given ‘NO STARS’......
