“First pair of glasses - absolutely delighted”

This is the first time I have ever purchased glasses and I thought I was taking a bit of a risk purchasing online, however it turned out to be a risk worth taking. I succumbed to the hard sell at the opticians after my eye test result showed I measured a small prescription (the optician informed me that I was borderline for driving - I have since found out that this is not true!). I ordered frame and lenses for £250 and left the shop a little bemused. After speaking to a friend later that day (who told me I had probably been over-charged) I had a search online for the frame (I had the model number and my required dimensions from the receipt), to my surprise I found the same frame/lens combination on Metsuki for less than half the price. I immediately called my optician to cancel my original order. I used the online pupillary distance measuring tool on the Metsuki website and also asked a friend to measure this also to confirm the result (both measured exactly the same). I then had all the information I needed to order my glasses online and my eyes and purse are very pleased that I did - a fantastic service which I can highly recommend. Thank you Metsuki
