“Cambodia”

The programme went really well, the kids were great and they learnt fast so trying to stay ahead in my lessons was a challenge but I managed!
Last weekend was good the highlight had to be the village party at which we had a song dedivated to us forcing us to step on to the empty dance floor in front of the whole village! As if we didn’t stand out enough already!
The Khmer Rouge trial was a great experience although drifting off to sleep was not allowed and it took considerable effort to stay wide eyed and awake as they were just presenting documents which whilst interesting dragged on!
Thank you so much for your help and attention though, it’s been great to volunteer through you and I would definately recomend you highly above any of the other volunteer projects I viewed in choosing my placements.
