“Shocking all round!”

Yep.. they led me in on a 0% balance transer and all was rosey. Then hey presto due to a few personal issues I could not pay the balance off so guess what they hiked my rate to 34.9%! When I queried this they told me I had received notification and did have an option a month ago to close the account.
I have to say that this was rubbish as who in their right minds would accept this type of APR?
My credit rating is good and I even re-checked as they told me it was down to the feedback they had from it?
Customer service is shocking too and depending on who you talk to you may find anything from arrogance, rudeness and downright couldnt careless attitudes.
I rang customer services to finally pay the balance off and they refused to help! Said it could not be done nor take a payment. Does that mean the longer they keep you then the longer they can screw you?!

I hate this company full stop and will NEVER use anything connected to the brand Virgin ever again.
