“Beggars belief”

Talk about a fiddle.

Now economy car hire want you to book from the information on their web-site and expect you to know what the brokerage arrangements are from this. They have made a mistake, charged inappropriately and now to add insult to injury are trying to make out it is my fault for not knowing what they do behind the scenes! If they were going to have to use a different supplier and this cost more they should have contacted me and asked me what I wanted to do or just admitted that they could not meet my request - not just supplied an inferior car.

I should have been given the opportunity to go somewhere else

They cannot charge you for one car and provide another and tell you that you should have known - this is fraud!!
