The tooled part that attaehcs to the camera is a standard size that would fit all cameras. But your question can be extended to read, Will all tripods work for all photographers? That's a different answer. Some things to think about:1- Your height and the height the tripod extends to (up and down e.g., how low to the ground how flexibly different legs can extend)2- Whether you'll be doing macro shots and wanting to angle your camera so it's facing straight down3- If you plan to do panoramas, can you easily pan with the tripod4- If you want to capture landscape and portrait (directional) shots, does the head on the tripod allow that do you want a ball head for ease of adjustment5- Is there a hook or something to hang a camera bag or other weight on in case it's a windy day (you don't want your tripod to topple with the camera on it .)6- How heavy is it and what impact will that have depending on how you plan to use it7- How do the legs adjust is it a screw mechanism or flaps' which can you work most comfortably and quickly in a quick setup situationAnyway, you get the idea. You actually didn't ask a dumb' question at all You just had to keep thinking it through beyond the camera connector part of it. Good luck!
