“Rubbish boiler and rubbish service”

I have a rented flat that has a Baxi boiler in it. I purchased the flat 5 years ago and at teh time the flat was 6 years old. I have had no end of trouble with the boiler. I now live in Canada and thought it would be a good idea to pay for the services of heateam as if anything goes wrong they should be able to deal with it. I have been extremely dissapointed with there engineers. I have had to get second oppinions on 3 occassions. One where they wanted to condemn the boiler as they suspected a leak in the flu. another plumber was hired to have a look and in a matter of minutes after talking to my property manager they found out the mark on the ceiling was not down to a flu leak but from a water leak from flat above that had been cleared up a tear prior.
On a more recent occassion they have come out to work on the boiler and said that the flu inspection hatches have not been installed to the correct standards and that the problem with boiler is not clear and that they would have to start looking behind the wall. After I got another plumber to check I was told that the boiler issue was down to a part that was faulty and that any one who new what they were doing should have picked up on it and he also said that whoever suggested putting holes in walls was extremely incompetant. and as far as the flu inspection hatches are concirned there is nothing wrong with them and they have also been signed off in a porevious gas inspection.
so in short dont get a Baxi boiler and if you are unfortunate enopugh to own one then dont bother with heateam as they do not know what they are doing with regards to these boilers. I pay 17.5 per month for that cover and as soon as I finish writing this I am going to cancel and speak to someone about taking them to small claims and getting back all the money I have paid them for a service I was not getting.
