“Hair-tearingly time-wasting experience.”

written by on 27/03/2012

Disastrous website which is very time consuming to use (keying in security text every time you try to make a seating enquiry). Trying to speak to someone on their 'hotline' numbers is also a waste of time, and if an event is fully booked the automated answering hangs up, so that you have to go through the whole process again for an alternative date. Unsatisfactory reply to a simple on-line email enquiry (probably also an automated email). Gift cards expire after 12 months, and it seems that the local ticketmaster outlets based in highstreets etc don't take the gift cards anyhow (although you may get to talk to a human - albeit a helpless one!) Also, they charge a ridiculous booking fee per ticket, not per booking. All-in-all one of the worst on-line / telephone consumer experiences I've ever had. My follicles have ejected my hairs out onto the floor. Avoid Ticketmaster in favour of the genuine event box-office outlets.
