Good Points
Great presentation.

Bad Points
Lemon cake recipe does not work.

General Comments
John Burton Race - French Leave: Over 100 Irresistible Recipes - Great looking book. It's a real pity though that the recipe for lemon cake on page 208 does not work. Have tried three times (what a waste of 2 dozen eggs). Either the oven temperature given is incorrect (I use a thermometer in my oven) or the tin size is incorrect - but I'm not prepared to persevere, there are too many other cook books out there whose recipes DO work. The cake starts getting burnt on top and is still liquid in the centre.
