“Charging twice and not giving refund”

I ordered a radiator and other items on line for delivery to the Derby branch for me to collect on a Saturday after 12pm as I needed these items for first thing on the Monday. I drove to Derby and the items had not arrived. I was in the branch about an hour, on the phone to their head office to sort. They stated I would have to re-order the items and they would deliver them to my house on the Monday. I reluctantly agreed but stated I wanted the items there in the morning. They tried charging me £5.00 for express delivery which I refused and after lots of waiting on the phone they agreed to deliver free. They stated that they could not refund my initial order until the Monday.
Two weeks later and two phone calls later I am still waiting for a refund.
They have stated that the branch has to book the stock in before they can refund me?
DO NOT PAY TWICE FOR ANY ORDERS THEY HAVE NOT DELIVERED.
