“Very poor service - being charged for items we do no want!”

My partner and I decided to order some curtains and curtain poles online on Next. Later that day, we decided to cancel half of the order as we decided we didn't need these items - they were unneccesary. My partner rang up Next Customer Services phone line and we were told that the items would "try to get cancelled, however it may be too late as they may have already been dispatched". We thought that was fair enough.
So the 2 curtain poles that we cancelled that we didn't want never turned up - they were never delivered to our address. Unfortunately we are still being charged for these items. Although we have explained that we cancelled them, and even if they did not get cancelled, they were never delivered to us.
The online statement with Next is very confusing and difficult to understand if ur not a pro at these things! They have a stupid 'buy now pay later' system which I didn't want to do, I wanted to pay for all of the items straight away.
Everytime we have rang up Customer Services they do not seem to understand what the problem is. They seem to change it somehow or another. They are not helpful! I would not reccomend buying from Next online! This issue has leaved us feeling stressed and after numerous phone calls to the Next Customer Services line (which isn't a free phone line by the way!!) we still have not sorted this issue 2 months on. Very disappointed.
