“Item Not as Described on Web Site”

I have ordered items from this company when my children were really young and were pleased with the quality but not so much the price. Now my son is 8 and we have just decorated his room and we wanted a world map for his wall. I wanted something that would last and looked good - on the GLT website they had 3 maps and we chose the 1 for older children- it stated that it was laminated and had the flags of the countries on it. It cost £28 + for map and delivery.

Today it arrived- its not laminated and it does not show the flags. Its on thin paper and I could have brought it from the works for around £5.

I have phoned them to complain and spoke to (name removed) (wont give her surname but ok for her to have mine) who says send it back - well no! why should I put myself out going to post office - queueing for ages for an item I would not have brought if the description had been correct. Said I wanted to speak to her supervisor who have apparently 24 hours to call me back although they are sitting next to her. Customer service a joke!! after reading several reviews of this company this seems to be the norm.

They don't deserve to have our business. Won't use ever again and would not recommend.
