WRITE A REVIEW

“Olympic Park tour plus lunch”

The tour was slightly dissapointing as the first hour+ was spent around the outskirts of Stratford, although the guide was very informative and very enthusiastic. Once we got into the main Olympic park we just stayed at the viewing area having the various parts pointed out and described...we thought that we would be shown all around the park...and would get a closer view of the swimming area and the cycling veladrome..but we only saw them from a distance. We did notice however that all the guided tours followed the same route so it might be the rest of the site is cordoned off for security reasons.
Nevertheless, the lunch at Formans Restaurant was excellent - all 3 courses were superb with complimentary wine and beer being served throughout....and tea/coffee to finish off was also included.
All in all we enjoyed the day, got plently of exercise walking around, and had a great lunch .....shared with a really nice group of people.
