Very good graphics, and storyline.

Bad Points
Difficult to start off, poor manual.

General Comments
X2 - The Threat - I have been looking for something to replace the void left by Elite, and here it is, but with extras. The graphics are very good, and there is a storyline which you do not have to follow, so you can roam at will, playing the game as you wish, picking up the thread of the story as you go. The controls were a little difficult to start with and the manual is not a great deal of help, but once I had found the odd shortcut or two it became much easier to use. Close combat can be a little tricky but that only adds to the fun for me.
