Vanquis are fantastic when you want to start helping your credit to get better. The APR is ridiculously high but my credit at the time was ridiculously low !! so why people complain about this i have no idea.

If you manage your account well they will increase your credit limit. Let me talk about this more as every time they increased my limit i would lower it. This is NOT what you should do. My credit was good and i applied for another card. They would not accept me. What i found out was that every-time they increase your limit let them. i thought i was being a responsible crediter by lowering it but apparently this goes against your credit profile as it potentially suggest you are not trusted with high credit limits.

Now i have been upgraded to gold status with a high credit limit which is fine. the only problem i have is that i wish they would lower the APR as much as they increase your credit limit.

Customer service are fantastic most of the time.

Just be sensible. My credit is now nearly excellent and i cant thank vanquis enough for that.
