“How have they lasted so long?”

Wanted the Samsung Galaxy S2 with at least 600min for less than £30. Saw an excellent deal on Phones4U: 600mins, 300texts and 1GB data for £28.50 with Orange so ordered online on Fri 30 Dec 2011, just before the three day weekend. Even though the website said they'd deliver within 48 hours, I knew this wouldn't be possible with a bank holiday, but was hopeful it would come on Tuesday.

Tuesday came and went, and I hadnt so much as received an email telling me the phone was despatched. So I called on Thurs to enquire. Orange had failed my credit check (even tho I have contracts with O2, 3 and Vodafone), but Phones4U never bothered letting me know (yes, I checked my junk mail). So I made a new order, same as before but 900min for £31 (£1 over my budget, but hey). Was told as it was morning the order would be despatched that day. Didn't receive an email confirming the despatch until Fri morning, but pleasantly surprised when I got home and saw the delivery. That is, until I opened it and the Customer Agreement was 300mins for £26!!?!?

I tried calling the number on the letter which was supposed to be open til 6pm, but when I called the message said they close at 5pm!! SO waited until Sat to call, and to cut a long story short, was told a new contract would be sent to me in 3-5 working days. Could not be bothered waiting another week when I was supposed to have my phone in 3 days ago so have cancelled the order. It remains to be seen if these jokers take any money from my account.

Wish I had read these other reviews before wasting my time with these comedians.
