“poor value for money”

i bought a leather holdall on wheels that was reduced from over £600 to just over £300, still a lot of money. The lock on the bag broke after one normal travel hand luggage usage. I contacted Plumo but they said it was a sample piece, something that was not explained at the time of purchase, and they could not replace it, that for this reason they did not feel they were obliged to replace the item but would repair it as a good will gesture.They also said they would do this one time only. This made me wonder if they knew there was a design fault with the bag which is why they chose not to continue to stock the item.The repaired lock has broken again making the bag not fit for purpose, a very expensive poor buy, i would not buy from Plumo again.
