General Comments
For chistmas my 12 year old 7 stone lad wanted an off road push bike for jumping. Went to Halfords in Newbury, Berks and looked at a £200.00 bike. Sales man informed us (after explaining what we needed) that the Carera Fury was the bike to have with adjustable forks and high quality build it would be perfect. Christmas day pedal fell off, next gears jumped & would stay in gear causing accident on main road, new gears fitted by shop, next rear brake stops working, repaired be shop. Next new gears fall to bits back to shop. Next spokes all came loose on rear wheel back to shop to fix but spokes keep coming loose even going to school. Other pedal fell off next pivot pin on front brake fell out, back to shop to see manager for a refund (getting annoyed now with bike and feeling for my lad who has only had this bike for about three months out of the five). the manager of the bike dept inspected the bike, calls me to inform me this bike has been used off road on rough ground and has been jumped, i say yes that's correct thats what i paid £500.00 for. he tells me this not a jump bike but a cross country bike it's been abused. still ongoing. my advice is go to macro spend £99 when it breaks bin it and start again
