“short service life, flawed design, poor company guarantee”

I purchased a GO930 in January of 2010. The unit started shutting itself off about a month ago and now it will not stay on at all.
I contacted the help desk, with a reference #, and was first told to charge the battery by connecting it to my home computer for 4-5 hours. After doing that and seeing no improvement, I called back the help desk, and was then told that it is the internal battery that is dead. Since the unit is locked, there is nothing that can be done, and the company guarantee is only for one year. He closed the call by following the script saying “Is there anything else that I could help you with sir?"
