I've been to this restaurant a few times, i highly recommend it. The choice of food and atmosphere is great.
It's a great alternative to the Akeman, prezzo and the various curry houses Tring has, it's nice to have a different food option in Tring.
The atmosphere is always buzzing if you go around 9pm at weekends, they sometimes have a belly dancer which livens things up.
The chicken wing dish is great with the hot bread and Efas larger.
My one and only issue was when we were there a couple of weeks ago for a birthday (12 of us) when the side salads came out the lettuce was riddled with holes, the leaves were limp and had clearly been nibbled by an insect or two. It let down an otherwise perfect meal. We spoke to the waitress who's reply was 'it's supposed to be like that'? my friend who was with us (a head chef) explained it was not and it's a insect issue, we were then told the chef had intentionally put the holes in it? yes, thats right you did not misread!!
We literally had to laugh it off although we didn't eat the leaves, it's a shame as the food was brilliant and they could have easily swapped for a fresh batch at little expense when a group of 12 were spending £300 +. I know a few of the group were not at all impressed with the response and so thats a shame as a simple fix has turned off future custom.
That said, i still recommend the place, yes the chef should have checked before sending it out and yes the waitress should have resolved it without making up a story but apart from that it was a great evening and the food was lovely.
