“Will never set foot in a F1 autocentre again”

Took my car for a MOT and interim Service at the Maidstone F1 on Rocky Hill. This would now be the third year running I have taken it here, up until now have had no problems. Firstly they were very reluctant to give me a price on the phone 'in case it needs work to get through the MOT' so straight away they persumed my car needed work, without looking at it! I found this odd but still maybe something they have to say. My car failed its MOT and when they phone to tell me it would cost £430 plus vat to get it passed, I obviously thought this to be a bit extreme, so told them I would have to have a shop around. The man on the phone then became very pushy saying that he needed to know in the next five minutes what I wanted to do as he had more cars waiting to go in. So I decided to go and collect my car. As I could not afford this at this time. On walking into the Reception the same man was on the phone saying how quiet it has been and that 'he might as well go home' and 'Its like being at school here' as to which I said its better than the last time I was here, As the guys out the back where swearing and play fighting. To which he then said 'it is a garage love what do you expect' On waiting for my car to come back from a test run which I found odd as it had failed the MOT, I paid for the failed MOT and Service. My car turned up and the man driving it took out his christmas shopping!!! I have now had the work done and MOT passed for £148 in total. To then find out that the service which I paid £62.50 was just for a oil change!! Again very Extreme and Hence why I will never use them again. But to top it off the parts in which they had quoted me for where Vectra parts I own a corsa!
