“Parcel to Spain”

Sending via the PO in Spain cannot be tracked hence a courier is the best option. I booked to collect one day and advised under special instructions to collect from next door if no one was in. Unfortunately, the courier cannot read these instructions from his end and I should have left a note on my door. When I called to chase up, I was told I would need to pay an extra £10+VAT but I explained that I had done my best to advise re:different pick up address. I was told that on the FQAs page, the company asks for a note to be placed on the door if you are popping out. As a first time customer, I was told that they would be willing to waive the fee. Collection and delivery were then as expected and DHL allows you to receive text and e-mail notifications at each stage of the journey.
