“did not unlock my phone and refused to refund my fee”

I admittedly offered Mr Unlock a challenge with a telephone I purchased in Mexico. I had several exchanges with them over a period of many weeks; some responses from them were thoughtful, some were stock wording, one proved that the writer had not read the thread.

In the end, they gave up. So I asked for a refund of my money. They said they tried and my situation was unique, so no refund. I'm now returning to the US, still unable to use this phone for my occasional UK visits, and I don't have time to pursue further.

I appreciate the fact that they tried, but they also failed, for which I believe I'm due a refund.
