My child sat a mock exam at a school in Woodford, just north of Salisbury. The experience of sitting the mock under exam conditions was the only real benefit of this exercise. We opted for an additional 'detailed' report about the performance of our child and this took ages to arrive. When it eventually did, it could almost have been about anyone. In addition I was told via another parent whose child sat the mock, that they had received instruction from Mr Stringer that a mistake had been made and one of the paper set was too difficult and additional 5 marks should be added to all scores. What's the point?
