“Good for the money but a little fiddly ”

I was torn between the Dyson and the Vax but bought the Vax based on the reviews and price plus we prefer an upright cleaner. We are pretty impressed so far. We love the style, weight and ease with which it copes with all the different surfaces from hard floors to thicker pile rugs. The fact that you can switch off the beater bar for hard floors is genius. We have a teenager and a dog which do challenge any vacuum cleaner. Having had a Sebo for the last ten years I was worried about missing it however the suction is excellent and it is pretty adaptable. One thing I would change is that it is fiddly getting the hose and extender out as my Sebo was very quick and easy it was something which should have been mentioned in the reviews. However, we are still pleased.
