“Oh My God......”

Written on: 19/11/2011

How the hell has this been going for 10 years?

I was speechless really. As others have said, Glee does Queen sums the music side up. However, it's not rocket science - people seeing this dross will generally like Queens music, which is Rock music (albeit soft / pop rock). Therefore, to dpo the songs justice, it should be sung like Rock - not by a load of untalented shrill 'high school kids'. Just awful.

As bad as the music was, it was the best part of the show, because the 'story' was laughable, which was fortunate because nothing else, including the intended jokes were funny - we didn't actually laugh once. What was with all the name dropping of song titles - why is that funny?

Zero chemistry between the leads and what was with the ridiculously annoying fake accent of the lead girl.

I regret not leaving at the interval.

I have booked up to see War Horse again to help erase the memory of this dross.

If you like Queen - go and see a tribute band.
