Worst Customer Service I've Ever Experienced...
I've been without incoming calls or broadband for nearly 3 weeks. Every day I call their Indian call centre to be told that an engineer will phone me back. They never phone me back. They've continued to charge me despite not providing the service I'm paying for. They will not refund my money until they have fixed the problem, but they seem to have no intention of fixing the problem.
I've given up on them now - I've arranged for a new line to be installed. Once this is up and running I will embark on the new Pipex nightmare of trying to get them to cancel my services.
Stay well clear of Pipex/TalkTalk...

Health Warning - Pipex May Damage Your Credit Rating.

Probably the worst provider of any service that I have had the misfortune to have to deal with my forty years of dealing with company customer services departments. In fact Pipex do not have a customer service strategy of any kind.
I represent my 82 year old mother, who for 2 years tried every possible avenue to get Pipex to allow me to act on her behalf when she had a problem. We wrote letters and e mails and we called but never managed to succeed to get the record onto their system. During one conversation I was told that Pipex do not accept any written instructions and do not reply to any written correspondence. What kind of company is this?
For that reason, this year I transferred my mother’s service back to BT. Problems began when Pipex failed to disconnect her service on the due date. This was ENTIRLY their error as we and BT followed all procedures correctly.
For some months Pipex double charged my mother and we spent over £10 on a number of telephone calls trying to get Pipex to disconnect her service.
Eventually 6 weeks later they sent a closing demand for payment that did not detail in any way what the payment was for or that is was a closing statement. It did not confirm the account was closed or give any details of dates and account closure.
Within four days of receiving this demand my mother received another letter telling her that if she did not pay within 14 days, Pipex would put the matter in the hands of debt collectors and that her credit reference would be affected.
In all this very stressful timePipex have taken no responsibility of any kind that this was a Pipex error in the first place.
User beware ! this company offers the very poorest level of service.

If You Like Poor Customer Service, Hanging On The
If you like poor customer service, hanging on the line waiting to speak to someone who is at best difficult to understand, fail (or never had any intention?) to return your call when promised, love chasing different departments for a resolution (which you never get by the way), innacurate billing, useless techinical assisitance, expensive calls to 'customer service.....la la la la
Then pipex is the company for you. Guaranteed to drive you nuts. You have been warned! I only awarded a start for each element of the rating because there was no option to award no stars!

I Refer To My Bill For £334.51 For Month Of
I refer to my bill for £334.51 for month of May'10 while going through the bill; I was shocked to note that I have been charged for various calls made overseas and on Premium Numbers to which I have no knowledge. I have never made such calls on various numbers.
I have complained to Pipex Customer Service several times on the phone and by email but till date I haven't heard from them such a useless company it is. This problem is going on since last more then four month.
very poor customer care service.
i suggest they should close the company.
I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.
I have also compliant to Ofcom and Otelo.

I Have Now Spent 11 Days Trying To Get My 1571 Ser
I have now spent 11 days trying to get my 1571 service to work. I have rung Pipex Call centre every day and every day they lied to me saying that someone would ring me. I get garbage answers like I have been upgraded to a level 4 engineer. But still no service. I also hate the way that the call centre staff in India give false names like Darren. Pipex service is abysmal which is a shame because when it was Homecall the service was exceelent.

Not Only Is My Phone Bill Paid But My Account Is
Not only is my phone bill paid but my account is £30 in credit but it has now been 10 days since I have been able to make an out-going call.
This week I have spent over £12 on my pay-as-you-go mobile trying to get through to Pipex that there is a problem.
Yesterday I telephoned "customer services" on a 0871 number from a relatives house. I was on their phone for 50 minutes. Not only was this embarrassing but very expensive.
"customer services" told me to speak to the "technical services dept."
"technical services dept" told me to speak to "credit control."
"credit control" told me to talk to "customer services"
"customer services" said that everything that could be done was being done.
I asked each person that I spoke to if I could talk to their Team Manager or immediate supervisor but none of them would let me.
This situation is appalling.
For 10 days, people have been telling me that my phone would be working normally in " 2 to 48 hours".
I have telephoned Pipex, I have emailed Pipex and I have written to Pipex. Still the problem has been pushed around and I have been fobbed-off.
I must now start formal complaint procedure.

I Was A Toucan Customer. Toucan Was Bought By Pip
I was a Toucan customer. Toucan was bought by Pipex. Worse and worse ever since. Mind blowing incompetence. Unable to get the billing right. Costs a fortune to call them because they use a premium 0871 line and don't answer it. I phone them 11 times and held on for 10 minutes 10 times. Once they answered in less than 10 minutes. So I spent 100 minutes at 13 pence per minute NOT talking to them. Thats £13 - when the problem is that their bills are wrong!

I Was With Toucan And Unfortunately It Was Taken O
I was with Toucan and unfortunately it was taken over by Pipex. Normally my monthly bill with Toucan was £25 per month but I received my first bill which was over £300 for one month. They applied the wrong rates and it was then reduced to £200 and they could still not get it right. It has been reduced by a further £100, which is still not right. Awful service and I am going to change suppliers. I do not recommend them.

Can;t Be Put Through To Pipex Telephone Line, You
Can;t be put through to Pipex Telephone Line, you have to call at least 3 different numbers before you can get through, the cost of 1 call is expensive much less having to make 3 or 4. Because of this other departments have different information on you and this is where it gets conflicting information on your part. No being able to pay a bill by card payment is ridiculous, especially as you only give a direct debit date of 13th of each month & not my chosen date. I'm so looking to go back to BT atleast the calls to their customer services are free, not forgetting the best value for money
We Haven't Had A Phone Connection With Pipex For 3
We haven't had a phone connection with Pipex for 3 months. Called to report it numerous times, have been told fault fixed and given a date and time for reconnection. It didn't happen. When I phoned to see what was going on I was told that there was no record of us ever having reported a fault?
