“Dormeo topper 5cm loss of thickness”

We bought 2 Octasmart Essential 5cm Single toppers in June 2022.
After around 5 months one of the Two Mattresses had shrunk in the centre thicknes to around 1/2cm resulting in a very hard central area of theTopper.
I (as the user) found that sleeping on it caused me a lot of pain in the Hips until I stopped using it.
We got in contact with Dormeo (Ticket No 2091710)who replied saying that reduction in Thickness can reduce 5% to 15% would be classed as Normal and that unless we could supply further Technical types of proof there would be no further action.
I must say they did refer us to product conditions which does state the above reasons for no further action which we must accept.
However we still feel that the 'reduction' problem seems a very short length of time from Purchase.
We now would not purchase any Dormeo products and cannot recomend them
