Just filled my car with diesel. I then went into the forecourt shop to buy something before checking out. There was 2 lady's in the shop one behind the counter serving, another filling shelves up. They were talking amongst themselves when I walked in. I said hi, how you doing as I handed her a pack of mints.(the lady behind the counter did not respond She continued talking to her colleague then signalled to the card machine for payment. I said thanks (I was ignored once again) then when I turned around to walk out. There was another customer behind me. He was very close. You know when 2 people don't know what way to go.
Anyway as I was leaving the Morrison staff member that was filling the shelves blocking my path told me it's a one way system and I'm going the wrong way.
I have been filling my car up with fuel at this service station since it opened which was years ago. This is the first time I have experienced this behaviour.
At what point did Morrisons ever tell there staff to ignore the customer unless scolding them.
So to recap, I was ignored when walking in to the shop and I said hello. I was then ignored a second time when leaving. The only time I was spoken to was when a staff member was having a go at me.
This is not customer service as it should be. This happened on Thursday night the 8th September 2022 at Rubery Birmingham
This is not the Morrisons I have known for all these years. Unfortunately it is now the Morrison's I will remember.
