I ordered some printer ink and was asked to review the purchase via the UK Office Direct website. Since the items had not arrived, I asked when the order would arrive. A day or two later, I was advised “Unfortunately as you did not send any additional security information in as requested we have voided your order and refunded the funds back to you”. I don’t recall being asked for “Additional security information” but I was only asking where my order was and I had needed to log in to my account, in order to do so. It sounds very much like flowchart mentality or the ramblings of yet another badly programmed system.
This prompted me to complete the review, in much the same way as above. I was later advised “Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines”. Perhaps only good reviews are accepted. It will be interesting to see whether my further review, which asks “What is the point”, will be “Moderated”.
