I have been liaising with the AA in respect of my complaint since 9 OCTOBER 2022 , ie refund of 6 hours instead of the 4 hours refunded, ie

Booked lessons 16th and 22nd October cancelled but not the 6 November at 9.30am. The AA confirmed a refund of the 4 hours after a live chat which was ridiculously hard to get through after 3 weeks of trying. The amount of £115.08 but as of today’s date 3 JANUARY 2022!!! I have not received the refund. Upon working out the refund it still isn’t correct. In total plus the £35 (initial payment) I have paid out £402! I’ve had 4 lessons!! Bank receipts can be provided! I have called continuously on the numbers provided for the complaint but still NOTHING!!!
The other issue is with the instructor who received a payment of £35 for the first initial 2 hours driving lesson. then sent a text saying she’d left BSM and now with the AA providing a pupil number. I also have evidence.
I paid upfront £367 for the further 6 lessons not including the £35, when the instructor cancelled the penultimate 2 lessons refunding the hours, ie 4 hours and not the final lesson booked on 6 November at 9.30am! The refund should be for £183.50, ie 3 lessons! 6 x £61.16666666666667 = £367! This does not include the £35. AS OF TODAY STILL NOT RECEIVED!!!
BE AWARE I WOULD ADVISE NOT TO USE THE AA FOR DRIVING LESSONS! AND IF YOU’RE WAITING FOR A REFUND GOOD LUCK - ITS DISGRACEFUL - I’M NOW REPORTING TO TRADING STANDARDS ETC!
