“Don’t ever forget your physical Clubcard ”

So, I usually take my Clubcard with me the rare occasion that I do go to Tesco, it’s already over priced.

I was in there anyway and thought I’ll get a few bits and bobs that we need, many of them with Clubcard prices. As I got to the till I realised I didn’t have my physical card on me, not having the app already downloaded I quickly got it, logged in… great I could see my account. Then realised it’s a separate app to scan the card. So I downloaded that… to find the only way I could get in was with my old phone number which I hadn’t updated or by entering various numbers from my Clubcard. So I decided to grab a member of staff who just said I’d have to pay the non Clubcard prices.

I of course left it all at the till and left with nothing. I wasn’t in the mood to argue or push the matter, but certainly won’t be going back.
