“Appauling company. NEVER use.”

Had an absolute horrific experience with VIP Cars. Arrived late into Rome FCO airport, Centauro Car Rental picked us up as they has taken the booking from VIP (as happens sometimes with 3rd parties) but we get to the office and there is literally no sign of our booking even though VIP sent me a confirmation with everything. The useless gentleman, who was quite confrontational, from Centauro explained they had no car available and no reservation and we were 'out' of luck. Had to book with Sixt, who were awesome, late at night. Since then and posting a bad review on trustpilot, VIP have reached out and reimbursed me $130 of the extra $500 it cost me. They explained their systems went down for 3 days and a whole heap of other tales......bottom line is, DO NOT USE the company, absolutely shocking! And whilst at Centauro desk trying to fix the issue, every number of VIP was not answering (globally!) and had full mailboxes!! Be warned!
