“Took money never sent item”

I purchased a West German 1970 retro shirt from Football Nation and the gentlemen who took the order said although it usually takes two weeks to arrive it may take up to three. After three weeks the order status and not changed and no sign of item so I contacted them. They said they were busy and would call me back, I never got a call back but received this email:

Hi, we had a message to update you on you order.

Apologies this is taking some time, we had just placed a large order with the supplier just before yours came through. As such, we wait until we are ready to place a further larger order and this has just happened so it could be a further couple of weeks before this arrives, which is due to customs now.

Do you still wish to wait or not?

I am guessing if I had said nothing I would still be waiting, I obviously expressed I did NOT wish to wait. Surprising they have any customers with this level of service.
