“Poor service - 8 windows and 1 front door”

We recently had all of our windows and front door changed by Crystal. After the windows were done there were lots of screws varying in size left inside and outside the property. I have 2 young children so this could have been extremely dangerous and the installers knew we had kids too as they were here when the work was being carried out. After installation I looked around the windows and noticed a few of the handles were a bit crooked which may not seem like much but when you pay so much money I cannot understand why it is so hard to make sure they are straight. Also there has been some damage to my walls inside the windows from the fitters removing our old windows. Now I can understand some damage may be caused but they have not even tried to cover the marks with filler etc and there was also a mark on the window frame itself from inside which is clear to see. At the time of the windows being measured we requested that the windows have child restrictors. Upon fitting they could only do this on the large windows and then said someone will come out shortly to fit the restrictors on the smaller windows. Over 2 and a half months later, I am still waiting for child restrictors on the remaining windows (5 in total). I have called Crystal a few times and nothing seems to get done which I am not surprised about as they have got the sale and our money and that is probably all that matters to them, well that is what it feels like anyway. The day before my front door was fitted (much later than originally planned) I had a call advising me of this, I mentioned the restrictors and the woman on the phone did not seem to know anything about this, so she said yeah we can get this done tomorrow for you. Fitters turn up the next day, they do not have the parts for the child restrictors so these could not be fitted again. Also I have a brown door and they came with a white part in error, so had to come back later on. At the point of sale we were advised we would not be charged for the finance payments until after the deposit on the door was made which was agreed would be the day it was fitted. But payments came out sooner and left us in a sticky situation as we did not plan for this as this is not what was agreed. From start to finish this has just been a complete mess and I am really unhappy with all of the service we have received. I would never recommend Crystal to anyone and would tell people to go elsewhere. Everything seemed so easy and that everything was going to be taken care of at the "sale" and then once we signed our names it went downhill from there.
