I booked a car and after some time I requested for a change in the reservation - because of change in the flight I wanted to give back the car a 5h later. I was shocked when I received na e-mail that my reservation WAS CANCELLED due to my request. I REQUESTED FOR A CHANGE IN THE RESERVATION, NOT CANCELLATION (I speciffically remember putting the new date). I received reservation credit instead of money and I had to buy another reservation which was 2.5x more expensive than the orginal one. If I knew that it is the case I would never request for a change! Your rules says that it the change of reservation is not accepted the reservation is not cancelled, but just is on the same rules as it was. Your customer service is a joke - hotline is off and no one responds to the emails. I will never use discovercars again and I will make sure that many people will know.
