“Recovered a stolen PS5 delivery within a week”

Superb customer service response times with fantastic communication and resolution to what seems to be a very rare occurrence.

A couple of weeks ago I received an alert that SG had PS5 consoles in stock, so I ordered the same day and was duly sent out for delivery within 48hrs.

Only the DPD driver couldn't find my property (never had this problem before but it is in a village). When the driver called to find me the next day, he took a photo of the box on the property as per policy (box looked a bit battered). The box seemed about the right sort of size and weight. When I opened the box, however, the contents were a number of flat packed cardboard boxes. Definitely not a console plus accessories.

Note: If a courier ever asks you what was supposed to be in a box unless you're sending it, I hope it's obvious to never tell them. They shouldn't really ask although a couple of DPD employees did...

Anyway, the Customer Services Manager managed to raise an investigation, had the directors involved and within a week had liaised with DPD so much that the box had been found, returned to Simply to be quality checked and was resent out. More than happy to reorder from Simply in the future!
